OVERVIEW
Heather's grandmother worked as the lead nurse in a very large hospital operating room. She loved her job and always spoke positively about her career. This inspired Heather to pursue a career in the field of medicine.Prior to attending physician assistant school, Heather tore her ACL and meniscus, and had two knee surgeries. That sparked her love of orthopedics. Her faith in God has given Heather the strength, the talents and the drive to become a successful physician assistant. In her free time, Heather volunteers in her community and is very active and involved with her kids lives, including sports, concerts and plays. She also enjoys running and photography. I have always had a passion for giving and serving others, medicine provides me the opportunity to practice it every day. The practice of orthopedics provides me and our team an opportunity to make a significant impact on improving patient’s quality of life.
