"Dr. Dabbour took over Manhattan Dental Care in Manhattan, IL. around 2021. In June 2022, I went in for mild tooth pain and Dr. Dabbour took x-rays. After he performed the exam, he explained that a root canal was my “only option” and the procedure would cost over $2500. Fortunately, I went to another dentist for a second opinion, and it turned out to only be a very small cavity that was easily filled. I called the office and complained about the unnecessary root canal recommendation, but the doctor never bothered to call me back. Incompetence or a scam? BEWARE of expensive procedures at this office. If they say “root canal”, get a second opinion."
