"Unfortunately, the staff needs some major training on professionalism and customer service. The doctor was listed among my providers on the insurance web site. I called to make an appointment and provided my insurance information. They checked it and told me the co-pay would be $.... That was great. A few days prior to the appointment a confirmation email was sent to me. This morning, the day of my scheduled appointment, I got a call stating my insurance was not accepted. They had six weeks to double, triple check and inform me that my particular plan was not accepted. As a patient, it is my responsibility to know where my plan is accepted. So I did my dues by logging into my plan's web site and looking up the practice. But it is the medical practice's duty to remove themselves from the insurance provider's web site if they no longer service their patients. And inform the patients in a timely manner. I am very disappointed... "
