A. We take most all insurances that allow you to pick your own dentist. To verify your eligibility and benefits, it's best to contact our office and we can generally let you know over the phone.Â
Q. Can we do implants?
A. Dental implants are most successful when the surgeon, restorative dentist, and laboratory work closely together. Dr Yee has been restoring and coordinating dental implants for over 20 years. Please contact us for a consultation. Â
Q. Can we do teeth whitening?
A. Not all whitening is the same. Store bought whitenings are a lower concentration of the whitening gel and are more acidic for more shelf life. By using custom made dental trays and properly dispensed whitening gel make a more effective and comfortable "bleaching" of your teeth.
Q. Do you accept new patients?
A. Since our goal is to provide comprehensive conservative dentistry, most of our patients complete their care and then need mainly teeth cleaning. There is always room for new …patients.
Q. How long does it take to get an appointment?
A. All our team has been in dentistry for over 25 years. We are very gentle and efficient. Most times we can get our patients an appointment within one or two days. If it's an emergency, often you will be seen that very day. For non urgent appointments we can see you one or two weeks.
Q. Do we treat children?
A. Many of our adult patients started in our practice as small children. We encourage our parents to bring their children in to our office at age 1-2 years old. We reserve some of our afternoon and Saturday appointments for our young people. We have a great collection of DVDs to keep little Jimmy occupied while he is getting his teeth cleaned.
Q. What's the difference between the composite or amalgam fillings?
A. With the advent of composite tooth colored fillings, we primarily place these type of fillings. Although amalgam fillings were good in their day, the drawbacks on amalgam makes it practically obsolete. The composite fillings glue your tooth together and are essentially air tight. The amalgam fillings expand and contract with temperatures.  Food and moisture to gets under the filling. Amalgams also cause pressure on the tooth and crack our teeth.
Q. How long does it take to get my denture repaired?
A. For most repairs we can complete in one day if we see you before 10:30 AM. We use a laboratory that is local and provides excellent service.
Q. Do we make veneers?
A. Yes esthetic dentistry is one of our specialties.  A beautiful healthy smile is our primary goal in our practice. Please ask about how you can have that smile you always wanted.
Q. How do we help our patients that have anxiety?
A. First and foremost we understand your fear. Knowing that going to the dentist creates fear and worry, we have several solutions. First we provide painless treatment. We are such perfectionist that our dentistry lasts much longer than the national averages. We provide sedatives, laughing gas, and prescription anti anxiety medication for those needing more relief.
