Dr. Gregory G. Zirakian uses a team approach to focus on esthetic and cosmetic dentistry, areas that are helping more and more people look better and feel better about themselves. He has been in practice since 1986 and operates a state-of-the-art facility that is patient friendly.
The office has a sophisticated system of high-tech equipment that, for example, enable patients to take home a photograph of their treatment for better understanding. While conventional dentistry has always been effective, many consider the visible results of repair unattractive, such as silver fillings or the wire clasps of partial dentures. This can be changed now by esthetic and cosmetic dentistry, born in the late 1970's. Esthetic dentistry uses conventional procedures and treatment to …solve problem's but with an improved, natural looking result. Cosmetic dentistry comprises totally elective procedures performed solely to enhance appearance. Both procedures require a high-level of clinical experience and artistic
abilities.
Dr. Zirakian treats very young children to adults well into their nineties. Although Dr. Zirakian provides general dental services, his main focus is esthetic and family services. These include bonding, tooth-colored fillings, cosmetic porcelain crowns and veneers, cosmetic bridgework,
root canal therapy, and cosmetic esthetic reconstruction.
Such procedures can whiten teeth, replace dark fillings, change the shape and contour of missing teeth and restore damaged teeth to function and beauty. No matter what the desired result of treatment, it never comes
at the expense of a patient's dental health or comfort.
Dr. Zirakian is a graduate of Tufts Dental School in Boston. He has more than 1000 hours of continuing education. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Valley District Dental Society.
