"Dr. Haynes is very personable, it's easy to see why patients give her a 5 star review. She listened to my medical concerns. However, after a depression screening she asked if I was spiritual and started to talk about Jesus and went as far as to recommended Christian authors, websites and specific books of the Bible. She implied that if my therapist wasn't "in the faith" I'd be lead astray and because I fell away from Jesus all the bad things in my life are happening. I was very uncomfortable and wanted to ask her to stop but she repeatedly said "I'm not preaching at you", I didn't feel like I could stand up to her. I reached out after the appointment and her response was "I'd like to state I didn't mean to offend you with my belief." I respect peoples faith and beliefs, however pushing it on others in a medical setting isn't ethical. It was really inappropriate and I felt I deserved an apology for how she used my medical appointment to push her religious agenda."
