"This 'doctor' provided coverage for my regular OB/GYN. During that time, I had a positive serum hcg and a negative ultrasound. I called complaining of severe abdominal pain. He suggested that I wait to see my regular provider. Consequently, I was rushed to MGMC for an emergency laparoscopy that led to a laparotomy for a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. On another occasion, I was a birthing coach for a family member. He was the OB on call for a family practice doctor. Despite a high fetal heartrate with low variability and a mom with a high temp, he continously refused to attend. He allowed that the fetal heartrate graph was fine. Once I suggested if he would swear to that in court, he came in to evaluate patient. An emergency c-section was performed, resulting in a 1 minute Apgar score of 0. Fortunately, the outcome ended in a healthy mother and child due to the skill of support staff. (I was an OB nurse unfamiliar with this physician)"
