"I have been going to Dr. Tellam for quite a few years. I've had great experience up until recently. It is way too much to type here but I'll try to summarize...he was out on vacation. I had an issue with a pain med he prescribed. I called the pharmacy and they called in a new prescription but it never got approved. When I called, the staff was rude telling me I needed to come in to see the Dr. He wasn't even in to actually ask him...no offer to call me back once he did come back to the office. I can't say it enough, they were simply rude! Just a few moments ago, I called to check on my bill which by the way was for visits 8 months ago. Why did it take this long to bill me. I had sent info through their website or some online site with proof I had paid it, but I never got a response, only additional bills in the mail. Today when I called, the woman that answered was rude. When I told her I was calling to discuss my bill, she said, "yeah, what about it?" Then looked at something ...
and said, well the billing lady isn't back until tomorrow so you'll need to call back. I'm not able to do that because of my work hours and she simply told me that she didn't know anything about the billing so she couldn't help me....her tone of voice and sounded as if she was completely annoyed. First of all, when I told her why I was calling, she could've said, I'm sorry, but our billing person is out today, can I have her return your call, or please call back tomorrow. So many different ways she could've handled my call. There is never any reason to be rude to a patient or anyone for that matter. Grow up lady and learn how to respect your patients! "

"1/18/25 i came in -- you all Xrayed my feet, suggested shoe inserts which i refused and arthritis ointment at $80 a tube, which i refused. so end of appointment-- Now i get a bill showing you billed Aetna for an ankle orthotic/brace/whatever that I NEVER GOT for $1663.50. All you did that day was take 6-8 X-Rays........so there is a HUGE error here, eh?-"

"For the first time in a very long time, my suffering from Plantar Fasciitis has ended. Following Dr. Tellam's wise counsel, I have stopped exercising on 2 pieces of equipment which Dr Tellam told me were adversely affecting my condition, and recommended switching from using a treadmill to the stationary bike. Further, given how long I had occasionally suffered from Plantar Fasciitis, we discussed the advantages of eliminating the scar tissue which had developed over the years, and so I made the decision to use the EPAT (Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Technology) machine. "

"I had surgery on my foot, which I'd had problems with for over twenty years. The surgery went extremely well, and I have absolutely zero pain!!!!! Dr. Tellam and his staff are extremely professional, very caring, and every visit was a pleasant experience. I will be trusting Dr. Tellam and his staff to do the surgery on my other foot in the very near future. Having foot surgery was one of the best decisions I've ever made, and I won't trust anyone else to do the surgery on my other foot!!! Therefore, I highly recommend Dr. Tellam at Ankle & Foot Associates."

"Torn Peroneal tendon that was heading for surgery until I decided on Stem Cell recruitment therapy. Good choice, after 4 weeks I have noticeable improvement and since this could take 2-3 months for full effect, I feel like I'm heading in the right direction, this was the best choice. Dr Tellam has treated this issue along with my plantar fasciitis and arthritis pain successfully. Thanks Doc"
