"Dr. Peers was the Urologist on call May 23rd and saw me in the ER of Queen's West , and did surgery on me May 24th to remove an infected penile pump, leaving an open wound i n my scrotum . He showed my wife how to change the drsg. daily, as I could not see it . I asked to see him again in 3 weeks , he refused , and said 3 months . Of course the wound was healing very slowly . I requested a referral to the Wound Care clinic at the hospital, but he either refused or was never told by the Urology Medtech Timothy ---- I had to send a threatening note on "My Chart" Then Timothy put the referral in under another doctor's name. Dr. Portis obviously didn't care about my wound healing. When I questioned him not seeing my for 3 months, he replied "Well, you sat on this for 6 months" ---- A blatant lie because I had been followed continually by The Texas Center for Urology, in Fort Worth , where I had the originally surgery. Peers is a competent surgeon , but once he operates, he doesn't really care for his patients"

"Dr. Peers without a doubt is the best urologist. Not only have I experienced his skill over the years for kidney stones removal, BPH, and very shortly the Eurolift procedure for it, he has been referred by several physicians as the urologist to see. I trust his judgement and hand skills on the surgical tasks needed to be performed. Several years ago, I had the kidney stone surgical procedure botched by a Singaporean urologist that caused me excruciating pain for 10 days. Dr. Peers assured me that he would remove every stone lazer blasted. True to his word, he removed every stone, and I did not suffer but minor discomfort for 1-2 days. He is thorough in his explanations to you as well as his follow through on all matters including appointments for CT scans. I highly recommend Dr. Peers to any of you in need of a urologist. Without a doubt he is among the best!"
