Dr. Gail Scott Hovorka, MD

Dr. Hovorka, a recent arrival to the Northcoast, brings a family practice specialty with a strong background and training in HIV and Hepatitis C care. Dr. Hovorka received her M.D. from the University of Texas in San Antonio in 1983 and completed her Family Practice Residency in 1992 in Austin, Texas. She worked at the city of Austin Community Health Center from 1985 to 1998. Dr. Hovorka provided HIV care at the David Powell Clinic in Austin, Texas from 1998 to 2004. She is board certified in Family practice and is an HIV care specialist. An avid rower, she enjoys the cool coastal climate of Humboldt Bay.
