"Dr. Azad was an absolutely amazing psychiatrist. She's extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. She can come off a little distant at first, but this goes away once she gets to know you. I have OCD and have struggled with depression and anxiety as a result. She helped me get through some really hard times and was extremely patient with me. She also worked with me and my insurance frequently, so I'm really confused about people's complaints on here. It's fair for any business person to take care of payments and protect themselves. Know going in that you are expected to work on things as a patient. Don't just expect some magic pill that will fix everything. If she says don't drink with your medication, for example, don't do it. Your relationship with your psychiatrist should be a partnership. That's what she'll offer. But she needs to know that you're doing your part to keep yourself healthy and safe.
