A native Clevelander Dr. Evan D. Tetelman graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in 1971 and Miami of Ohio In 1975.
Dr. Evan D. Tetelman graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry Class of 1979. Following graduation Dr. Tetelman completed an Advanced Program in General Dentistry at the Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn New York. During that program Dr. Tetelman received at certificate in Oral Pathology from The Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York.
In 1980 Dr. Tetelman returned to the Cleveland area and joined our prestigious dental group practice. Living in Beachwood his wife Terry and he raised their three boys Aaron, Michael and Jeremy. Their family now includes their daughter-in-law Jessie and three awesome grandchildren Gabriel, Azriel and Seraph.
Although a restorative dentist Dr.Tetelman’s diagnostic …and surgical skills allow him to provide a wide range of in office “specialty type†care for his patients and those of the practice. The creation of healthy beautiful smiles has always been his goal and sharing that with his patients is a singular honor.
Dr. Tetelman has been involved in dental education at various levels for the past thirty years. Dr. Tetelman taught Comprehensive Dentistry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center Graduate Dental Program for nineteen years until the closure of the hospital. At that time Dr. Tetelman joined the staff at the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Tetelman is the Co-Director of two undergraduate implant training courses at the University and also trains four residents per year in Advanced Restorative Dentistry and Practice Management within the Universities’ Advanced Dental Residency Program.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities at the University Dr. Tetelman has been involved in a series of research studies in dental implant therapies. Over the past twenty years Dr. Tetelman has been a National Lecturer in the area of Dental Implant Restorative Therapy and Dental Implant Practice Management speaking to groups throughout the United States. He has also authored several articles on those subjects and most recently a chapter on Complex Care in a new Dental Implant Textbook. He has been honored to be listed in Best Dentists in America and Who’s Who in America.
Dr Tetelman is currently the President elect of the Greater Cleveland Dental Society and will become President of the organization in 2011. He is also a member of the House of Delegates of the Ohio Dental Association.
When he is out of the office Dr. Tetelman enjoys Skiing, Scuba Diving and Traveling with his best friend Terry and of course being grandpa.
