In May of 2002, Dr. Wichmann took over the dental practice of his mother, Dr. Ida Smith. She opened the practice in Plainville, Connecticut in 1978. Also in 2002, Dr. Wichmann served as Base Dental Surgeon for the Connecticut Air National Guard’s 103rd Medical Squadron. From 2005 to 2007, Dr. Wichmann served as Vice Commander of the Dental Unit of the 439th Aerospace Medical Squadron at Westover Air Force Base in Chicopee, Massachusetts.
Dr. Wichmann is a member in good standing with the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
