"Worst Doctor ever. Very unprofessional. I expressed how i Felt like he was not helping me by not answering any of my questions because I did not need a surgery, My new surgeon know I do not need surgery and he will answer any question I may have. Do not recommend dr, lusis"

"I had surgery in October 2020 after a lot of discomfort from a synovial cyst at L4/L5. Dr. Lusis spent a lot of time with me trying to decide the best course of action. He ended up removing the cyst and fusing L4/L5. Dr. Lusis and the staff were amazing before, during, and after surgery. I am out of pain and still in the recovery process! I would do it again and would recommend Dr. Lusis to anyone! "

"Dr Lusis performed a discectomy at L5-S1 in spring 2019. At my 6 week appointment, I told him I was having pain and he sent me to physical therapy. At about 3 months post op, I had another MRI which showed a significant herniation. I consulted with a different neurosurgeon and I ended up with a second discectomy on the same disc, same side less than 6 months after the first. It has now been a full year since my second discectomy and my pain level has decreased. Overall, I'm very glad that I left Dr Lusis' care."

"I’m a semi retired athletic trainer/physical therapist with back issues that finally needed surgery after 7 years of conservative Treatment. Dr Lusis was there for me the entire way. Now, 7 weeks post op of a complicated surgery, and with a long way to go, I couldn’t be more optimistic and happy. Dr Lusis is caring, compassionate, explains in detail and knows his craft. In my opinion he is the best neurosurgeon around. I highly highly recommend him without hesitation. "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
