"When my daughter was 13 months old, she fell and knocked out part of her front tooth. We took her to the dentist for her first visit asap with Dr. Soper. His bedside manner was lacking and he spoke to me in a bit of a condescending manner, but no matter. He says we’ll need to bring her back about once a month for the next few months to monitor the tooth in case it abscesses side that can cause damage to her adult tooth. On the second follow up, he informs me that he’ll need to pull her tooth. When we arrived at the office for the procedure I was told that I wasn’t allowed to go back with my at that point FIFTEEN MONTH DAUGHTER. I paced in the lobby while I could hear my baby screaming in the room; I begged to go back there with her and the receptionist told me absolutely not and to go outside if I couldn’t handle it. There’s no way they should be treating children; I don’t even think he likes them. After switching dentists, I now see what a good pediatric dental experience is like. Thankfully ...
my daughter doesn’t remember the horrific experience with Dr. Soper and loves the dentist we see now (Dr. Kelty). Unfortunately however, I will never forget it. And frankly, based on other reviews about his penchant for unnecessary procedures, I’m not even certain pulling out my daughter’s tooth was necessary. There are great pediatric options in the area; don’t subject you or your child to this office. "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
