"After two appointments 18 months apart, never going back. Both appointments were rushed, super short, none of my questions answered. No beside manner, no listening, no relationship. Time to keep searching for a doc who cares about the people in their office versus just staring at the chart on their screen and banging in entries on the form. So sad."

"Visit was great. She took time to talk with me. It did not feel rushed. My impression was that she analyzed my situation dispassionately, meaning she was not influenced by emotions, and able to be rational and impartial, and see the reality of what was going on, exactly what one would want in a doctor. I thought Dr. Woo was outstanding and thoughtful and look forward to my next visit. "

""Dr." Emily Woo should not be allowed to practice medicine with the incredibly disturbing lack of empathy or care for her patients. The only thing consistent about Woo is her complete inability to perform even the basic functions of her job as she fails (5 months to present) to approve medications for refill that I have sent 3-5 emails, calls, and messages about each time. That doesn't include the 3-5 times my pharmacist calls for the same reason. Absolutely positively DO NOT see this woman if you care for your health or wellbeing, because she sure won't."

"Dr. Woo is one of the worst physicians I have ever encountered, and I see a lot of doctors. I was transferred to her because my PCP was on leave, and before I even met her in person she was trying to get out of treating me, I think because my health issues are complex. When I did meet her she was unfriendly, defensive when I asked her why she did not contact me when I was hospitalized, and even said that she sometimes does not get her messages through Northshore Connect! I had to pressure her to give me a way to get in touch with her. She did not offer any suggestions or directives about my health, and once again did not contact me when I had another surgery. My husband also overheard a member of her staff say, when asked where she was, that "she was probably hiding from her patients." Probably sort of a joke, but it tracks. Your PCP is supposed to be your point of contact and coordinate your care. She fails on every level. Save yourself the trouble and see someone qualified."
