"We were seeking a clinical psychologist in a custody trial against an abusive and drug medicated mother who was diagnosed with severe anxiety and extreme depression. Ellis was a disaster. Her focus was on billing. As an example after a 2 hour interview she billed in excess of 20 hours for report preparation then refused to elaborate on the drugs and physical abuse other than stating it “could” happen. After Ellis was presented with the medication bottles and prescriptions she then insisted to talk with the real MD’s and then claimed she never confirmed and needed more hours of billing. She was incapable of even referencing side effects for the medications. BTW, Ellis is NOT an MD. Ellis has a psychology degree. In our opinion she is a quack and a waste of time. This matter was reported to Georgia Board of Examiners. Suggest everyone check these records."

"We approached Ellis (Phd) about providing a clinical review to help prior to a divorce. We thought she would provide a balance between legal and clinical and insight into mental conditions. That did not happen. We were extremely frustrated after multiple months of false billing and unnecessary visits for repeated interviews and excuses about delays around her report. She claimed to be waiting on return calls from totally unrelated people. Ellis produced 30 hours of alleged billing for investigating all from 3 hours of interviews. Further, my wife suffers from severe depression, extreme anxiety and has other mental health conditions all with a long family history. Ellis simply refused to admit these conditions as reported and refused to interview her psychologist and doctor or discuss side effects of prescription medications. Instead Ellis provided a self reporting request as she claimed she was not “qualified”. Some might think she was not qualified to review the self reporting document ...
either. Ellis’ report after all the garbage of waiting and double billing was close to a dime store novel and with similar value. There are issues that Ellis reported that were subject to investigations by the Georgia licensing board of examiners. Would not recommend! It seems the objective of Ellis is to falsely bill insurance rather than perform a legitimate service. Further Ellis is not an MD nor should she claim to carry a Dr in her title. Phd, (that is bs piled high and deep) maybe. That is just false advertising by her. "

"We have been to Elizabeth Ellis several times over the past few months. Each time we seem to start at the beginning and repeat. It’s as she does not listen or remember the last conversation we had. It’s a repeat scene from Groundhog Day. The exception is payments. This seems to be the focus of her office. No benefit. Not recommended."

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
