"I haven’t had any issues with Dr. Muir and his staff yet.He always let me know, about my blood works results.He doesn’t give you a smile, that’s alright for me. Dr.Muir will listen about your concern. As long as he treats my pre-condition. I am alright."

"I had the same experience as most of the comments. I typed out what occurred and then realized that it sounds so ridiculous that no one would believe it, but it’s true. He is rude and condescending and has an ego that goes for miles. Dude, you went to medical school, you didn’t find world peace. His office staff is unhelpful and gossipy (except for the new woman that works there). The kind where they walk up front because someone told them something in the back and they need to see for themselves. ??. I would definitely avoid him. There are way better places to go. I decided I didn’t want him to handle my medical care based on his demeanor and his inability to remember simple facts. I called another hematologist. They got me in right away for a second opinion and though I didn’t say who the doctor was, they said that they knew who it was based on what I had told them, and this happens a lot. If you have a bad reputation among your peers, that’s not a good thing. Beware. ...

"After 3 weeks of attempting to make a new appointment with Dr Muir, with a referral from my cardiologist, I have still been unsuccessful in obtaiing an appointment. Dr Muir comes with the highest of recommendations, however his staff is rude and condescending. As a medical professional, I understand that the first contact a patient makes with the front office is a reflection on the provider. The treatment I have received from his office staff is lacking in empathy in every form and fashion. I truly hope this is not a reflection of the personal care Dr. Muir shows his patients. "
