"Was disappointed to hear that Dr. Delimustafic left Medical Associates. Would be keenly interested in keeping him as my doctor if he practices in this area again. Those who feel "abandoned" by him don't necessarily understand the rules of confidentiality and non-disclosure in the medical world. "

Health care professionals are bound by confidentiality agreements- both provider and patient- that often don’t allow for a smooth transition from one medical group to another. "Awful. I trusted Edin for years as my primary care provider. I called to make an appointment for our usual blood work follow-up only to be told he left and isn't coming back. They also claimed to have no idea where he went. He basically abandoned all of his patients without warning."
