Donna Yaffe, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist and a health psychology specialist. She received a bachelor'?s degree in psychology, with honors, from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology, with specialty in health psychology, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia. After completing an internship in health psychology at the VA Medical Center in West Haven, Connecticut, Dr. Yaffe completed a postdoctoral fellowship in behavioral medicine within the Division of Medical Psychology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.Dr. Yaffe has more than 20 years of experience working in medical settings, helping patients with chronic illness and related adjustment, pain, interpersonal, depression, and anxiety issues. Her work also focuses on intervention with patients in need of health-related behavior change to improve overall wellness. Dr. Yaffe works with individual patients, caregivers, and …groups, and she is the health psychologist for the multidisciplinary Emerging from Chronic Pain program at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.Dr. Yaffe is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Maryland Psychological Association.
