Dr. David J. Yoder

David Yoder, DDS Dr. Yoder is from Indiana and attended undergraduate and graduate school in Indianapolis.  He received a Bachelor's degree from Butler University and a Master's degree from Indiana University before going on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.  Dr. Yoder's commitment to quality comprehensive care is shown in his dedication to continuing education.  He has attended a number of different continuing education courses in topics such as TMJ, esthetics, endodontics, and periodontics. Before opening Surfside Dental in 2010, Dr. Yoder practiced at different offices around the Jacksonville area.  Dr. Yoder's goal at Surfside Dental is to provide comfortable, quality and comprehensive dentistry to all his patients.  In addition, he has been a volunteer with local and international dental mission programs.  Dr. Yoder is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Jacksonville Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Jacksonville Spear Education study club.  Dr. Yoder and his wife Katie, a Jacksonville native, moved to Jacksonville to be close to family and start a family of their own.  Dr. Yoder is an avid runner and cyclist and competes in marathons and Ironman triathlons on a regular basis.  He and his wife enjoy travelling and boating.
