OVERVIEW

A native New Yorker Dr Schulman had two offices with his New York practice, Smithtown Dermatology in western Suffolk county, and South Fork Dermatology in the Hamptons are of Long Island. He and his wife both have family connections to Charlotte and this was the obvious choice for where to go when they decided to escape New York.

"South Charlotte Dermatology is well staffed and, as a result, runs very efficiently. They've done a great job streamlining the check in/check out process. Dr. Schulman is the best dermatologist I've found in Charlotte. His exam is thorough. During the exam, he explains what he is seeing, shows specifically what it is on a chart and identifies it as "good or bad". Good is no concern. Bad is treated right away. Biopsy follow up is within 24 hours. Great office visit, and treatment, with my NEW dermatologist, Dr. Schulman!"

"I see Dr. Schulman for my eczema and psoriasis. He is the first dermatologist I have been to who has taken the time to really explain my conditions to me, and has also taken the time to listen about factors that contribute to both. He explains treatment and makes sure you understand how to take care of you. For me, it is unique to find a Dr. who truly listens, educates, and cares, so when you do, don't let them go. I am so glad to have found Dr. Schulman. His staff is equally friendly and caring."

"Very warm, friendly people. It was my first visit to this practice. Dr Schumann took care of a problem that had been bothering me for years, and was left untreated by a previous practice. I feel South Charlotte Dermatology is more focused on my health than on pushing cosmetic procedures. They are less likely to brush off skin problems citing “age” as the cause, and more willing to heal the patient. I really appreciated that! I will return to this practice!"
