OVERVIEW
Dr. Sabol was born and raised in northeast Ohio. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Microbiology in 1994. He obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in 1998. His internship, residency, and gastroenterology fellowship were performed at the Medical University of South Carolina. At the Medical University of South Carolina, he achieved multiple publications and trained under two of his mentors, Dr Peter Cotton and Dr Rob Hawes. Dr Sabol joined Ohio Gastroenterology Group in 2004. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is active in several gastroenterological societies.
