OVERVIEW
I was born in Los Angeles, California. I am the youngest of four children. During my years in school, I realized the importance of helping others who did not understand the medical system or couldn't speak English well enough to access care, which inspired me to help bridge that gap by going into medicine. Being a bilingual physician allows me to better understand and treat my Spanish-speaking patients, and it allows them to feel more comfortable clearly expressing their health concerns.
