David Manzanares, DDS
Dr. David Manzanares is an Associate Dentist at University Family Dental. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2009. He is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of New Mexico, 2005, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and was a UNM Regent Scholar. In addition to becoming a member of several Honor Societies and the UNM Dean’s List, he is also a Graduate of the Dale Carnegie Generation Next Program, and was a Los Alamos Employee’s Scholarship Recipient. At Los Alamos National Laboratory, he worked as an Undergraduate Technical Student with the Advanced Diagnostics and Instrumentation Group in the Chemistry Division.
Dr. Manzanares serves as a member and officer of the Southwest District Dental Society, member of American and New Mexico Dental Associations (NMDA), representative of the NMDA House of Delegates and Governmental Affairs Committee, member of the Academy of General Dentistry, and Advisor to the NMSU Pre-Dental Organization.
The son of dentist, Dr. Robert Manzanares and mother, Nancy, David is originally from Espanola, New Mexico. He has two brothers, both planning to become dentists within the next few years.
