"My entire experience with Dr David Kim, the staff at his Hays office, and the South Austin Endoscopy center was the best! It started with scheduling and rescheduling appointments with the ease, a thorough office visit, and clear pre-procedure instructions. Then lead to showing up for the procedure and everyone understands you're tired, hungry, and grumpy so they are the kindest and most welcoming at every step: from check in, to the prep and consent process, to the perfect anesthesia, and of course, Dr Kim's professionalism. Everything went smoothly because of this dedicated team of professionals. Thank you! I would also like to add that I can vouch for him professionally, as I've done anesthesia for his patients before. He is skilled, thorough, efficient, and kind. "

"Dr. Kim and staff have been nothing but amazing. I asked for a referral to see a gastroenterologist after a hospital visit where I was diagnosed with hepatosplenomegaly. Dr. Kim talked me through the diagnosis, answered my questions, conducted further testing and determined that I had fatty liver disease. His treatment plan was simple and effective… diet and exercise. I have since lost a considerable amount of weight and I’m no longer feeling the discomfort associated with my diagnosis. He and his team have answered any and all questions I’ve had and have made me feel at ease in what most would consider a scary situation. "

"Dr. Kim diagnosed me with Crohn's disease and recommended a major surgery after a colonoscopy without a single question about my diet, lifestyle, or symptoms. He spoke briefly with my husband after the procedure, but did not wait for me to wake up so that he could talk to me personally. After the surgery to remove scar tissue, he forcefully recommended that I start IV infusions of a very intense medication on a regular basis. He did not offer any other options, and did not explore any other possible causes for the scar tissue. He essentially told me that I would be crazy not to do the infusions and started me on medical preparation to receive them. I experience NO symptoms of he disease he diagnosed me with. I have since received 2nd and 3rd opinions that do not align with this diagnosis and recommendation. I have been living a very active and healthy life with absolutely no problems or "flare ups" due to the so-called Crohn's diagnosis I was given by him."

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
