"I went to Dr. Dixon for orthotics for metatarsalgia. He told me he couldn't make them and wrote me a referral to Eneslow Shoes for orthotics. What? He doesn't know a orthotics person who will not try to sell me a pair of expensive shoes? Also, front desk staff useless in telling me if they had submitted the bill to my primary and supplemental insurance. The billing statement only mentioned amount due."

" This review is for the office staff of Dr. Dixon. I am appalled at the unprofessionalism and carelessness of his staff. Dr. Dixon himself was amazing and he was very knowledgable and thorough when he examined my son. He assured me that his staff will call me to give me information about the orthothics he had ordered my son to get. The nightmare was his office staff at 2.5 weeks after our July 6th appt. I called to follow up on my son’s orthothics since NO ONE in his office reached out to me or tell me what was going on (mind you prior to leaving that office the office staff in the front tells me “you’re all set we will call you about the orthothics and follow up.” Very convincing line) WHEN I called was told it would takes 2 weeks up to 3 weeks for the orthothics to be made, I said “oh no one at the office told me that.” Now at the third week, I called again and was told by the office staff the orthothics DID NOT COME IN and that they will call the lab. I finaly get a call back from ...
an office staff at Dr. Dixon’s office a woman named Nancy who tells me that the lab can’t find my son’s orthothics and that this has never happened before etc. She nonchalantly even says “Oh well you might have to get the orthothics redone.” Are you kidding me! At this point my level of annoyance was through the roof. She also tells me “yeah I received the other orthothics from the batch but not your son’s. I told them to look for it again and I will give them a couple of days to look for it” Was that suppose to make me feel better? Then I get a call from this office staff’s personal number (that’s kind of a HIPPA violation as I never authorized her to have my number personally) to tell me that the lab sent the orthothics to another doctors office and that she will call me on Monday to follow up about the issue. She will make sure it is expedited. She then goes on to offer me “some” orthothics they have in their office thats low quality and like the knes you can buy in the store and proceeds to tell me it’s not the same but it will help a little. What? Why would I accept that when the point of me not hesitating to ok my son’s personalized orthothics as prescribed by the doctor was to correct and alleviate his foot pain not further create damage. I wasnt even offered this “office orthothics” before why suggest it now. She continues to tell me, “I will call you on Monday to follow up and I will also call you when I get the orthothics so you can pick them up? This is very concerning to me. Monday came and went NO UPDATE. Today I call the office and I spoke to Christina and she told me the lab found his mold and they are making his orthothics? Making the orthothics? I thought it was already made (their stories kept on changing at this point). I tell her that Nancy the other office staff told me it was just sent to another doctor’s office. To which Christina replied “oh yeah that’s what I meant it is has been sent back to the lab from the other doctor and the lab just got it today so they will send it to us and it’s coming tomorrow, GOT IT!?” talking down to me like I am an imbecile. She continues to say “I don’t know what Nancy told you but I am telling you this now.” I asked her does Dr. Dixon know what has been happening or what they are doing? To which she doesnt give me a straight answer and mumbled an excuse. Great customer service and professionalism skills huh?! Then when I spoke to her in the manner and tone she gave me and accused me of mocking her! The nerve trying to turn this around on me. As I was writing this review I get a back to back call from Dr. Dixon’s office 30 mins after I initially called the office. It’s Nancy now, who leaves a voicemail now changing the story again saying “I did tell you I will call you as soon as I get them so you can pick up the orthothics. Well, they just came 10 mins ago! so you can pick them up.” But Christina said the lab just received it and it will come tomorrow? So, if I didnt call and raise thi "
