"Every once in awhile you come across a dentist and staff that you never want to be without, this is the one. I’m from a small town, moved to Houston and lived there for 25 years and never really found a dentist I liked. I had some pretty bad experiences with dentists that had high turnover rates and receptionist’s that were too busy to get off their phone that I almost gave up. From the first visit with Dr. Dorrah, I knew this place was different. They greet you by name and make you feel like you’ve known them your entire life and they’re affordable. I didn’t have dental insurance and needed extensive work because of chronic health issues that affected my teeth/gums. From the first consultation, I was told, we’re going to fix your smile and get you out of pain. I never felt rushed or judged for the condition of my teeth, only compassion. I can’t describe how good that felt, especially if you’ve been living in pain with dental issues for so long. I was also moving out of state in a matter of months, and Dr. Dorrah’s office was incredibly flexible and went out of their way to help me complete everything quickly before the move. They even have a dental membership plan that offset costs substantially, which was so helpful without insurance. Other dentists in the area only gave me one expensive plan. Dr. Dorroh listened to my needs, got me out of pain immediately and gave me several different cosmetic options that I could choose from and were tailored to what we could afford and need at the moment. He is gentle and I never had to raise my hand once because of pain in all my time seeing him. I’m now able to smile with confidence again, and live without teeth pain. Grateful is an understatement. I wish I would have went to him years ago. Their office is so charming/relaxing, appearing to be one of the older homes in the quaint and historic downtown Tomball area that’s been converted into a state of the art dental office with a big parking area out back. It’s clean and easy to find, but it’s the staff that sets this place apart the most. You can tell Dr. Dorroh has put in a lot of work in making this place so beneficial to his patients. I actually enjoy going to the dentist now and chatting with the doctor, Vickie, Mary Beth and everyone else. It seems everybody has been with him for years and really love and care about what they’re doing…and it shows in every facet of your treatment. If you’re searching for a dentist in Spring, Tomball, the Woodlands, Magnolia, NW Houston, etc, this is the one. Honestly, it’s worth the drive no matter where you are in the greater Houston area. I live in Alaska now, but will continue to schedule appointments when I come home to visit. "
