"My consult with Dr. Mullen went well, but his office staff was the deal breaker for me, and the reason I chose to have my surgery elsewhere. The woman that answers the phone seems so miserable. The surgery scheduler did not return my call, so I will have my procedure performed somewhere else. "

"My mom had the worst consultation experience with Dr. Daniel Mullen...after asking him about a therepay rehab center after knee replacement surgery, he replied "no, you'll stay one night then go home and have to take care of yourself ". he acted like we shouldn't be bothering asking him about rehabilitation since hes done "thousands of surgeries"... then he went on bad mouthing banner hospitals and only goes to Banner once a month to perform sugeries. My moms insurance only performs surgeries at Banner, that's why we asked. Then he litteraly raised his arm to show her the door and said "if you dont like the process, you can go find another doctor". He didn't tell her just once but actually 3 different times he mentioned go find a different doctor you're not going to hurt my feelings....My mom asked if she could see her x-rays, he replied with "i have already spent enough time on this consultation" (which was roughly 15 minutes...completely arrogant from beginning to end."

"If it were possible to leave zero stars, that would be my preference. The office manager Teresa seems terribly put out by her job. I booked a surgery 6 weeks in advance. 2.5 weeks before my procedure, they called to cancel my procedure because I had a change in insurance. Their policy was that they needed 14 days notice of the change prior to their pre-op appointment, which I called 14 days in advance. Today they indicate they need more time, even though they did not respond for several days to my request nor attempt to contact my new insurance, and unilaterally cancelled my surgery. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT subject yourself to the unprofessionalism, lack of support, rude behavior and condescending nature of both Teresa and Crystal. It almost seemed as if they are trying to outdo one another with how awful they can be to their patients. There are plenty of good surgeons out there that treat their patients with respect."
