"This doctor should not be working with mental health patients, especially those seeking out help for weight loss surgery. He took me on as a patient without having a clue what he was doing. After completing a psychological report, I failed the exam (or rather the exam said I was a person with a low outlook of life) and this so-called mental health professional waited two months to decline me, stating that he was concerned about my mental health...if he was so concerned, why didn't he leave me with any other avenues to a serious weight problem that I am facing? Instead, leaving me to just figure out the situation on my own? I am not sure why he even got paid for the consult, considering he completely forgot to make a report. Also, during our conversations, he claimed that I was experiencing "bipolar tendencies" for making a comment... well guess what? I am bipolar... and I found the note offensive...we already get judge so harshly by society, and now we cannot even open our mouths in front of a psychologist without being judged as well? Now, I understand that he may have some concerns...however, I was a patient in clear need of help with weight loss after breaking several bones in a car accident and clearly unable to get much physical exercise...I expressed this to him and in his notes...he states that I do not get any physical exercise(as if I am not even trying)...if he would have asked more questions...he would know that when my hip is not in agonizing pain, I get into the swimming pool however those days are few and far in between...he would also know that I had enlisted a personal trainer...these are all positive signs of someone trying and not giving up on life... He also misquoted me in his notes, making it appear that I was not educated about the surgery that I was going for. So he either is not a good listener or he was just making prejudgements from the moment we've chatted. With that being said, I hope you think twice about using this psychologist because he clearly does not care about those in need. "
