"Dr. Husted performed a laminectomy/fusion on me and it has failed. The pain re-surfaced within 2 yrs of the surgery which was done at Dr. Husted's personal factory called the Surge Center in Palm Beach Gardens, yes, all in for 80k. I barely woke up and pushed out off the table into a wheelchair after a major surgery. Did I mention the leather apron with a Ferrari emblem? When I returned 2 yrs later he gave me a 3 min audience and put me in unnecessary Physical Therapy which I had already been through, a huge profit center for the practice. I guess he doesn't like to admit failure regardless of ruining a patients life. Beware of this practice. It is a machine that puts dollar signs in front of patients. The failure was determined by another practice. Current MRI shows everything. On top of the debacle, Husted used a certain metal package embedded in my spine which other doctors cannot fix. I am screwed, literally!"

"My husband had major spine surgery. He did not take the time to see us before or after the surgery. He gave my husband extra strong pain pills and was too busy to see him. He took too many pills and ended up in the hospital. HORRIBLE PHYSICIAN! "

"The staff Is great the The doctor is not. Do not let him touch you. I screwed up. I did it because he took my insurance when others refused it. I talked to him about my surgery came up with a game plan and told the doctor my wishes. He agreed and there were things I told him I do not want done to me. If he had said he was going to I would have refused surgery. HE DID EXACTLY WHAT I TOLD HIM NOT TO DO, EXACTLY WHAT IHEE AGREED NOT TO DO. In my opinion my experience he lacks integrity. I would tell you to run. I am miserable cant get out of bed without yelling I use a urinal next to my bed because if I get up to pee I'm in so much pain I can't get back to sleep. I wish I had never done the surgery. I would get a written contract from him if you must use him for some reason. Do your homework. I now have to get wires and a stim implant to stop this pain. I have waited a long time to leave this review because I hate to say this I pondered it for months, It has been a year, I just am so angry that he did this to me. What if he does it to others. "Went to Dr Husted with severe neck pain and terrible headaches. He sent me for an MRI and during follow up visit he recommended i see his pain management Dr. His pain management doctor tried Muscle relaxers with little success and then epidural injection, but it made my pain worse. I underwent neck surgery, fusion of c6/c7, on 12/20/2018, recommended by Dr Husted after he stated that the MRI showed a substantial herniation of C6/C7. Went back to see him in 2019 with very bad neck pain and headaches again, like i never had surgery. Sends me for an MRI, met with him in October of 2019 to review the results, tells me I have arthritis. I asked if the arthritis is new since the surgery, he dismissed my question and tells me that he has a lot of patients with the same problems and that I should go for pain management to try epidural injections again. This visit took 5 minutes like all the other visits, and never really reviewed the full MRI report with me. He gave me a referral for the ...
epidural shots and a follow up visit. When I left his office I decided not to schedule any more visits or epidural shots with his office. I requested a copy of my office notes and records. After reviewing the MRI reports, i found that the arthritis was present in the initial MRI and he never mentioned it in the office visit. Also in the second MRI, just about all of my other disks had a 2 mm herniation, not seen in the first report. I wish he had discussed the entire first MRI report and the obvious that the surgery may not relieve my pain. Dr Husted spent very little time during the office visits with me, five minutes max. To this day, 08/31/2020, I continue to have terrible neck pain and headaches. "
