"I would like to thank my doctor Cyuhtia Pike at Optum/Health net for providing with a very nice experience. She not only went above and beyond when I came in for my diabetes results but when I also described that I may have a urninary tract infection she assisted with that issue as well. She ordered a blood test and prescribed medication which cleared up the problem quickly. Dr. Cynthia Pike is the doctor that most of us need, she's considerate and kind. I Highly recommend Dr. Pike to anybody that is having medical problems. Many other providers treat you like just a number and ignore your conditions. Thank so you Dr. Cynthia Pike for you have done for me and looking foward to continue my diabetes treatment under your guidelines. Kind regards, Anna Sanchez P.S. I also want to thank the nurses and staff for the great assistance. "

"Truly disappointed. Still trying to correct the mess she made of my medical chart and prescriptions. "

"Cynthia Pike, is the worst doctor I have ever met, I tried her after my doctor suddenly retired. Met her twice, she never even listened to my chest, just sat in her chair typing away. Prescribed me the wrong dosage for my thyroid even though I told her what the dosage should have been, took me a week to have her correct it. Listed stuff in my chart that did not need to be, made my medical chart a complete mess. Her office feels like a clinic."

"As a person, I liked Dr. Pike and in situations that required the standard play-by-play book that doctors use, Dr. Pike was good. However, unfortunately, I became sick with Covid-19 and the playbook, of course wasn’t there to adhere to. I get that there is “no cure” to Covid and that doctors don’t really know how to treat it, but one of the worst things a doctor can do is gaslight a patient presenting every single symptom in the book, and treat them as if they have anxiety. I had every symptom but would pick and choose the ones she wanted to hear about, ignoring the others. It took her maybe 3 weeks to look into one of the most pressing symptoms. Regardless of knowing how to treat (and doctors around the country have been treating patients by prescribing meds that help secondary issues), each doctor has taken an oath to do no harm. Even though I know there’s no cure, at very least, I would’ve expected a doctor on the same page, one who would assume the symptoms presenting themselves ...
were what they seemed to be (Occam’s Razor; the most obvious answer is usually the correct one), as opposed to trying to twist and turn them into something illogical. She took ages to refer me to a cardiologist and pulmonologist when many of my peers were referred early on to get holder monitors and have echocardiograms just to ensure there weren’t secondary conditions. I would also have expected a doctor to formulate an action plan of some sort. In effect, Dr. Pike created a massive amount of anxiety in me while I felt I was struggling to survive and she created the situation where it felt like I had to beg for her to help me or refer me to specialists. I finally had to file a grievance and walk away because it’s just not worth working with a doctor who instead of using a little vision in their learning to apply to a new scenario, is deeply in denial and/or is unwilling to step away from the rule-book at a time when the rule book does not apply. Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
