I’ve never met a doctor who is so careful and knowledgeable on the latest studies and technology. "

After being told I was too sick to fix my leaky heart valve at 3 OTHER institutions I went to Dr. Basman for a second opinion. "Dr. Basman is one of a kind! The kind of doctor that comes along once in a lifetime! He is not only an exceptional cardiologist, but a very caring human being, always available to the patient as well as the family. My husband needed catherization for two blocked coronary arteries. Since it also required drilling due to calcification, Dr. Basman arranged for him to be moved from a local hospital to Lenox Hill as it had the specialized equipment needed. My husband’s planned two day hospital stay extended to ten days, as the day before the surgery he developed a high fever. Blood work determined it was an infection. Dr. Basman was with us every step of the way, going above and beyond to make sure the patient was receiving the best medical care possible. Dr. Basman performed the catherization once the infection was under control, and was able to put stents in both arteries in one procedure. 5 Stars don’t do justice to Dr. Basman. He deserves ten times more! We will be forever grateful to ...
