"My recent visit to Northern Westchester Hospital with Dr. Connie Lorenzo left me quite concerned. She appeared to violate the Patients' Bill of Rights, using unprofessional and intimidating tactics, pushing a risky procedure despite documented side effects, and ignoring my persistent pain. I felt dismissed and disregarded. Her insistence on a risky approach without considering safer options was alarming. When I declined, she seemed to retaliate personally, denying me access to the safer alternative and neglecting to address my pain or other symptoms, forcing me to seek care elsewhere. Notably, Dr. Lorenzo holds a DO degree rather than an MD. While both undergo rigorous medical training, their patient care approaches may vary. In my case, Dr. Lorenzo's approach did not align with my needs or expectations, leading to a distressing and potentially harmful experience. I intend to address these concerns with the hospital's management to ensure that my rights as a patient are upheld."
