"I went in for a visit and had previously had a CT & x-ray completed of my hip and ankle. First visit was basically to tell me I needed to get a MRI. I get the MRI he tells me to send him a text after I get done with the MRI so he can review. I do that. I see him the following week. During my visit he obviously hasn't reviewed the imaging. Doesn't say much during the visit. Tells me he needs to refer me off to another specialist for my hip because I need a scope and I have a tear that needs to be repaired He says he is going to send me for a injection of the hip to help with pain. He is in and out and doesn't take any time going over anything. The very next day he calls me to ask me if I have had any back pain. I tell him yes I told you on the initial visit he says ok im going to request a image and request it to be done when they do your injection. (Mind you he told me he wants injection done 48-72hrs from visit) so 2 days later I call radiology to find out why I haven't received a call ...
for scheduling. I'm in pain. Radiology tells me they don't have a referral in my chart for a injection so I ask if they have anything for the imaging yes but he has you going elsewhere. I tell him everything was supposed to be done at the same time. The guy in radiology said I will help fix this and we will get it sent to insurance for approval right away. I thanked him for his help and called my Dr. We wound up doing a 3 way call with radiology to see what is wrong with the injection referral. Happens to be that the dr put it in as a consult. They put a request into the dr to get this fixed. I also sent the Dr a text asking him to please fix it and I'm really in pain. 5pm that night they send over another referral, still not correct. Here we are Friday my hip is killing me I am in so much pain. The only thing he will give me is ibuprofen. I'm supposed to have gotten this shot for relief. I have a hip labral tear that needs to be scoped and repaired. So now I have to go through the weekend in pain because the dr since Tuesday can't get the referral correct so I can get some pain relief. I don't believe I have been taken care of by this Dr and am glad I am being referred off to another Dr. This pain is way more than ibuprofen pain "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
