"Horrible. Doesn't listen to her patients. Referrals you to incorrect doctors making you lose money and time. Incorrect referrals code. Even after requesting bloodwork and have a diagnose she wants you to book another appointment to redo same testing in the same week and another evaluation when literally in the same week you were diagnosed. Looks like she's more interested in making money then truly caring for her patients or she's inexperienced. "

"I would rate Christine Marrero ZERO stars if I could!! A young new doctor, and one that gives this 70 year old no confidence and I could not get out of Baptist Health Urgent Care DORAL fast enough!! I came for a post op medical evaluation for a simple 10 minute Cataract removal surgery. My vitals were all normal, an EKG heart test normal---looking for something she went back two years in my Baptist medical record and found a test given during a hospital event, an event caused by the hospital and decided with a two minute look that I needed to see a cardiologist when in all of my many tests, many CT's and MRI's, thorough evaluations, I have never been referred to a Cardiologist. I do not have one and funny enough, I was asked during my EKG by Kevin, if I had a Cardiologist? ? My EKG was normal. Dr. Marrero had a perfectly normal EKG, normal vitals, did NOT give me a chest X-Ray but based on a hospital event two years prior having nothing to do with my ongoing health and the refusal ...
to dig deeper or believe me who knows her health, she said she would not sign a post op clearance unless I saw a Cardiologist, unnecessarily---was my opinion and by the way, she" could call someone into the Urgent Care within 24-48 hours", she said, since she knew my surgery was 6 days away. I resisted because I had NEVER been referred to a Cardiologist, my doctors had always said my heart was good so my only conclusion was she was holding my clearance hostage until more money was spent at that facility. I was very disappointed and disillusioned because it was obvious. I cancelled my surgery because I refused to go back to her or that facility. And wasn't going to have my post-op clearance held hostage by a medical professional who was possibly ...just not on the up and up and not acting in my best interest. Its funny how my eye site-- seeing OK , needing this cataract removal--- meant nothing to her. I hope she reads all the many reviews out there now I've written and changes. We don't need medicine practiced this way. There enough going on out there! "

"My experience with Dr. Christine Caridad Marrero was terrifying and left me in tears! After I had finished my physical exam, I sat in my car for an hour in a cold sweat, and am pretty sure I had a panic attack. I went to see her for a physical, and the assistant noted that I had a slow pulse. The doctor ordered that an EKG be done out of concern. I let her know that it’s genetic and that doctors have told me that my whole life, nothing to be concerned about. Her response was your EKG/pulse is “crazy” and then proceeded to tell me I “could die in my sleep.” I never had a doctor talk to me like this, especially when it involves my life. Without going into much detail on another issue, she then told me I “needed surgery” for something else. In my view the correct response is, I’m going to refer you to a specialist , not hey new patient “you need surgery.” She’s in primary care and in no position to make a final diagnosis on that particular issue. After all of this I was shaken and unnerved. ...
Afterwards I received a flu shot from an assistant and she was kind and I didn’t feel a thing. The receptionist was also kind and provided great customer service. A few people have given her high marks and maybe deservedly so, but that was not my experience. I will never go back to that doctor again. Baptist let me down. "
