"I came to this dentist because it’s the closest one to where I live. I had tooth pain and called regarding that concern. When I arrived, it was very unprofessional. The front desk person, who I later learned was actually Dr. Chang, was very abrasive and rude about the insurance I had, saying things like “they never call me back, they take forever to call us back, do you have a different Insurance”. Finally after all of that she reveals that she is the dentist and I tell her about my tooth problem. She then starts immediately a sales pitch about how I need all this dental work- deep gum cleaning, teeth removal, filling replacement, Invisalign, I was so overwhelmed. I had come in with one tooth hurting and now I’m being pushed these other services and she gives me attitude when I try to get back to my one tooth problem. I tell her that I’m sure that work is all great but I don’t have the money for it right now and just want to focus on what I can do. Then, she gives me attitude and asks ...
if I want to “keep coming in for each service or just get it all done at once under one anesthesia”. I understand what she’s saying but again I don’t have the money for that. I don’t even know what my insurance will cover.. and then she goes on about how insurances work and how “other dentists don’t deal directly with the insurance we do this FOR you extra”. She was so pushy and rude. She didn’t even listen to me, she puts a X-ray in my mouth and I’m thinking “oh great she’s going to actually help me!” But no she just goes on about how crooked my teeth are and how I need my wisdom teeth removed. I didn’t come in for any of that, I had a tooth in pain and she was completely ignoring it. She just kept saying I’d have way more tooth pain if I wait on all these other services. Look, I get it but I just don’t have the money! I need my one tooth taken care of but all she cared about was aggressively selling me. I kept trying to move the convo back to my one tooth and she just kept pushing and said “can you come in tomorrow we can take your wisdom teeth out” and I said not unless I knew how much it would cost and she got visibly annoyed - so unprofessional! I knew I had to just get out so I made up something and said I had to go as she was still pressuring me to make an appointment. I was so upset because my tooth didn’t even get taken care of. She has been hounding me since over text and call. And then made up an appointment and confirmed it for me??? I get a text about this made up appointment and how I need to let her know if I can’t come. How aggressive! I never scheduled anything! I text her I’m not going and she said “your copay for you last appointment is 50$ how do you want to pay”. WHAT? She should be paying me for wasting my time and forcing me into her sales pitch. She went ahead and filed a 250$ claim through my insurance. This lady is a scam don’t go to get! Totally unprofessional and preys on people. "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
