"Dr. Costabile is fine tor very routine uncomplicated cardiac care and has a lovely bedside manner but if you have complications or are a complex patient, she does not provide that level of competent care. She was unavailable in a crisis situation, changed an office visit to a virtual visit for my husband and missed that he had severely decompensated into severe CHF. I drove him to the Cleveland Clinic where they barely managed to save his life. When we tried to discuss with her at a local follow up appointment - she yelled at us that she wasn’t my husbands cardiologist - we decided that Cleveland Clinic was so she owed us nothing. My husband was still so frail from having 4 heart valve replacements - I gathered his clothes and things to literally walk out of the appointment and exam room and she put her hand to my chest and blocked us from leaving. Saying “you’ll wait here until the nurse brings your paperwork”. We left as soon as she left and did not wait for the nurse. Traumatic and ...
