Dr. Charles L. Rosen, director of the department's research program, also has expertise in skull- base surgery, spinal cord tumors, pediatric neurosurgery, and complex spine surgery. His research centers on new ways to improve stroke outcomes and to diagnose and treat brain tumors and injuries. Dr. Rosen received his medical degree and PhD from New York University and advanced training at George Washington University.

"I would not recommend this place to anyone with actual back pain. Go somewhere else, see someone else. You are only going to see this guy for three minutes and he isn't going to do an exam either. This is not a person who helps, this is a doctor who *might* read notes without even examining for himself. Total waste of time. "

"I'm a nurse and we have paramedic skills. We are educated and understand the medical system. Dr rosen is very skilled with a good bedside manner. He did a technically difficult surgery on my wife's back. She has had 13 surgeries on her back.
