"Unfortunately never met the Dr. to review him. Was greeted with Mr _____ why are you late. “Attitude heard in voice”. I said what u mean i am late my appointment was at 1:45 and it is 1:47 she says no sir as a new patient we ask you be here early to fill out new patient paperwork. She said we will still see you today but it will be after all the other people we have scheduled in here. I told here i was not aware or remembered hearing i needed to be there earlier than scheduled time and told here i was in lafayette and had to drive here. She handed me the clip board to start filling out paper work so i went sit down to start filling out paperwork so i sat down and thought for a minute and realized this may not be the place i want to be frequenting and went knock on window and she opened so i gave clip board back with paperwork not filled out and said that i am a grown man that don't need to feel like he is being grilled and punished like a school kid for being late and that i will ...
find another doctor to go to. She said well the doctor wants to know why patients are late and i said well what does that even matter the reason which I told her then was i had an appointment earlier in Lafayette and had to drive to here for this one. She said well well still see you but at this point my mind was made up. I told her they tend to forget they not paying me for being there and that i was the one paying them for being there and walked out the door. I called the referring Dr to tell them I wanted to be referred to someone else but they already knew because they called and said i was 25 minutes late and a few other negative comments about me. Definitely not a welcoming experience as a new referred patients. Also if it is so critical i am there way early then appointment to fill out paper work where was the courtesy call confirming appointment and special notes a few days in advance like most Dr offices to confirm. "
