OVERVIEW

Our office provides comprehensive and specialized dentistry for infants, children and adolescents in a fun, safe, and compassionate environment. We serve families in Pooler, Savannah, Rincon, Port Wentworth and many other communities of the Low Country and southern Georgia. As a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Carla and her staff have been specifically trained for the unique dental needs of each child we serve. We focus on preventive care to help each child develop good habits that will allow them to grow a healthy smile that will last a lifetime. We respect and appreciate the trust parents place in us and we believe it is a privilege to treat children. We thank you for giving us an opportunity to make a difference in children's lives.

"The doctor is great and she’s the reason I keep going, but it would be nice for some of the staff to go through a customer service training. It is just uncomfortable to make appointments, they’re pushy and not very friendly, they talked you over and tell you how hard it is for them to receive you. Well my friend is hard for everyone and sorry I’m focusing on making it easier for my kid. I wouldn’t recommend to take the 4pm appointment, they’ll rush you kind of hard, and I understand I was 4minutes late but I have waited before 40minutes with my kid in the waiting room without complaining, so I would say 4minutes shouldn’t be a big deal. Again, the doctors are great and most of the staff as well.

"I have a special needs daughter (nonverbal 5 yo) and the entire staff is just awesome! This was her second visit and was just as great as the first! Also took my other 3 yo daughter (neurotypical) and they did awesome with her as well! May I add anytime I have ever called the office every single person that has ever answered is extremely nice and helpful! You know you usually have a bad apple in the bunch but not at this place! I’m so glad we chose this dentist office for our girls!

"The work isn't bad. But the way they speak to the parents about procedures is absolutely unacceptable. Dr. Carla tries to scare you into doing the procedure her way and talks down to you like you're a bad parent for not being able to drop $1000 on the spot for your child. I wish the staff were empathetic and actually cared about the patients and not just the money in their pockets. I've been here with my daughter a few times, and she is absolutely terrified of the dentist, and they have been kinda harsh with her trying to get her to cooperate. She's 5 and scared and they just want to squeeze as many patients in as they can. They aren't willing to work with you on payments and, again, speak down to you, try to scare you into spending the money. When I, as a grown adult, leave the office in tears because of the way they spoke to me, something is wrong. I can only hope they never have to feel degraded the way they made me feel toda

"Yesterday was my 13 yr old son’s first visit to Pooler Ped. Dentistry. He was sort of glum when he arrived but left with a beautiful smile. The staff were so friendly and they worked around my schedule to get him in soon. This was the opposite of how I was treated at Howard Family Dental who canceled my appointment at the last minute and told me that they had nothing for months. Pooler Pediatric also called to see if I would like to adjust my appointment to an earlier date when someone canceled. My son loved that he could watch a movie while getting his teeth cleaned and everyone was so friendly and helpful. I’ve found a new dental home for my son and will never visit Howard Dental again!!

"We had another great visit with Dr Carla and Ms Stephanie! Both my girls absolutely love coming here! You surely can tell how much Dr Carla and her team care for each patient they see. I would recommend everyone with little ones to go here for all their dental needs!

"I was nervous about taking my kids to the dentist because it had been a while since they hadn’t gone but I knew they needed to be seen. Dr Carla and her team were amazing! They were not judgmental at all an listened to all of my concerns while explaining everything in detail that needed to be done. The prices compared to some I have been quoted are also very fair. I am willing to drive the extra miles to make my children comfortable with their dental visits. I wish places would treat some adults this way I’d be all set then

"I always leave a great review on this office after every visit because I can not say enough great things about them. I trust Dr. Stappenbeck 100% with decisions made regarding my children's teeth. She is knowledge, so sweet with them and gets the work done in the best way. With this visit, they got me in the same day. I thought it would be a visit to talk about what needed to be done to fix the issue. Within 5 minutes, we were out of there with no future visit needed. This entire office is lovely and I would never my children elsewhere.

"There’s a reason this place is rated 5 stars. The staff is friendly and bubbly. They all seem to actually like their jobs. The place is very clean and up to high standards. The dentist has a great personality, she’s easy to get along with and made our entire experience pleasant. Highly recommend this place. This place took United Concordia as I know military families are now having a difficult time finding dentists that accepts this new change.

"Today was my kids first visit and it was fabulous! The staff is very friendly and the office has things to keep kids entertained while they wait. No screaming or tears from my youngest and that's a HUGE improvement from the previous experience we had for a dental cleaning, Dr. Carla and her staff are awesome!

"Maci was awesome with both kids. They were both a little hyper and my son refused to sit in the chair and she didn't force him into doing something he didn't want to. Always have fun when we're at your office!

"My son has had a bad experience with going to the dentist and was very apprehensive about going to another dentist office. Pooler Pediatric's went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and relaxed. They answered all of his questions and explained the process to him and also what he needed to do to take care of his teeth. The level of professionalism by the staff was graded an A+. We have definitely found our new dentist office for all of my son's dental needs. The facility is kid oriented and Dr. Carla is the best!!!

"My child has been to the dentist two previous times (she's four years old) but this was our first visit to Pooler Pediatric Dentistry. We were told by a friend how excellent they were and we could not have been more pleased with our first visit here. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and very attentive to our little girl and made the visit so much fun. Thank you!
