"Dr. Heller is my primary care provider at the VA hospital. I'm a disabled Veteran with CPTSD, TBI, I have abnormal blood profusion in 3 parts of my brain 2016 brain SPECT. At the VA hospital, I asked Dr. Heller to write a script so I could go outside of the VA hospital to receive healthcare. Dr. Heller has been violating my VA patient rights for 5 1/2 months. Monday June 12 2023. Dr. Heller called me on the phone & said the SPECT is a bad test & I'm not going to write a script. Dr. Heller specializes in INTERNAL MEDICINE not nuclear imaging medicine. Dr. Heller is not a medical expert who's legal authorized to testify in court about the validity of a BRAIN/SPECT. Dr. Heller is discriminating against me. I want to PAY OUT OF POCKET for the brain/Spect. Dr. Heller has stopped me from receiving healthcare outside of the VA hospital for 5 1/2 months. She's dishonest about her knowledge of NUCLEAR IMAGING MEDICINE, she didn't know what a SPECT/BRAIN was until I showed her my medical record. ...
I'm reporting Dr Heller license to the state board of License in Harrisburg PA "

"Dr. Heller has a nice personality but is lacking in research and decision-making when it comes to patient care. She would rather "try" three or four medications at once (including one which has a black box warning for drug-induced Lupus) for a certain condition than prescribe one that actually is proven to work. When admitted to the ER at the VA Hospital the nurse stated that I was the fifth patient of Dr. Heller's that day. This tells me a lot about her quality of care or lack thereof."

"Dr. Heller is the greatest. She really cares about her patients and takes the time to get to the bottom of their problems. I have always had good experiences with her. "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
