Dr Brian D. Sowatsky, DDS
Dr. Sowatsky grew up in Muncie, Indiana. He decided in high school that he wanted to be a dentist and graduated from his hometown college, Ball State University, with a degree in Pre-Dental Science. After graduation from Indiana University School of Dentistry with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in1982, Brian and his wife, Jackie, moved to Lancaster County.
In May of 1983, Dr. Sowatsky opened his Family Practice in Historic Downtown Lititz, in the old Hotel Sturgis building. Following an apartment fire in the building in 1995, the practice was relocated to the General Sutter House near the center of Lititz. Continuing growth of his practice gave Brian the opportunity to move again in 2004 to its present location in the Medical Pavilion, across from the Heart of Lancaster Hospital.
Dr. Sowatsky is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry, and the PAGD PEAK I Study Club.
Dr. Sowatsky is an avid cyclist, and enjoys commuting to his office on his bicycle, going on Lancaster County Bicycle Club rides, and taking cycling vacations. Brian and Jackie are the proud parents of two grown children, Eric and Kelly, and the owners of the Greatest Dog in the Known Universe, Charlie Pudder.
