"Dr. Hoban is wonderful, I really wished I could’ve kept him as my go to ENT. Very attentive, very on point, and wants the best for his patients. However, Dr. Hoban’s staff is absolutely horrendous. The communication; er, non communication is just terrible. The front desk girls are young and just immature. Lots of eye rolls and or finger pointing. That also said, his one staff member, a more robust woman has an awful scowl on her face and makes it seem like you as the patient, you’re inconveniencing her. I had also called multiple times to finally get one call back and when they finally did, it was as if it was an inconvenience. When I was scheduled for surgery, I was told to then pay money to the surgical center. Once paid in advance, I was then told, during my pre op, to pay a mandated $250 on top of the money paid to the surgical center. That said, when my insurance company called, Dr. Hoban’s staff, (as I was skeptical about the $250) they said it was elective to pay the $250. Which was NOT what I was told at the doctors office. My insurance plan covered 100% of all ENT services and no payment of $250 would’ve been needed. This is a terrible way to operate. I would recommend to other patients to look for another ENT doctor. The doctor is great but the staff will make you want to leave an find another doctor ASAP. "

" Unfortunately the doctor is great, but his team is not.Dr. Hoban listens well, has great bed side manner and is very knowledgable.However his staff is horrible. They would not get me scheduled for the recommended procedure. Would not return phone calls. Crystal, his assistant, was extremely rude on the phone and hung up on me when I asked for my records to be transferred. Spent over $300 out of pocket for my appointment and will have to start over with another doctor because of his staff's poor communication."
