"Chronic, acute disc degeneration prompted me to seek chiropractic treatments for back pain relief. My visits were unproductive until good fortune put me in the care of Dr. Geringer. My opinion as to why there was such a substantial difference in treatment outcomes is that other chiropractors simply did not have the physical strength to adjust my spine properly. They seemed to use their own body weight to "jump" on the affected area whereas Dr. Geringer possessed the strength to slowly apply increasing pressure in a totally controlled way that allowed my body to relax as the treatment progressed and the feeling was one of gradual disc separation (spinal elongation may be a more accurate description), but the results were markedly different. I later found that my opinion was factually-based when I found that Dr. Geringer was a collegiate All-American in the discus throw and/ or the shot put events.
