Dr. Brandon Arthur Mines, MD

Dr. Rodriguez trained to be a flight surgeon and served a one-year tour in Korea, in 1994. Later, he spent time in Germany before being deployed to Bosnia-Herzegovina as part of NATO's peace-keeping force. Dr. Rodriguez then spent three years at Ft. Bragg as a flight surgeon and, completing his Army obligation, was honorably discharged with the rank of Major. Prior to joining Emory University, Dr Rodriguez was an assistant professor at UAMS, College of Medicine, Department of Family and Preventive Medicine in Little Rock, Arkansas. He has served as team physician for the UALR Trojans, as assistant team physician for the Carolina Hurricanes and the Carolina Ballet, and as the head team physician for USA Baseball. Dr. Rodriguez lectures nationally on sports medicine.
