Moore's scholarly and clinical interests center on lifestyle medicine, asthma, immunization science, preventive medicine, and health care informatics. He has published and spoken in these areas. He is listed as a "Top Doc" in Washingtonian Magazine and a "Top Doc" and "Top Primary Care Physician" in Washington Consumer's Checkbook. Research shows that lifestyle choices are the drivers behind chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and some cancers. By optimizing diet, physical activity, sleep, stress management and relationships and by avoiding harmful substances like tobacco, most of these diseases can be prevented and reversed. Dr. Moore is committed to helping his patients make positive lifestyle changes as a first step toward leading healthier lives. GW's Lifestyle Medicine Program focuses on six aspects of lifestyle change: a healthy plant-based diet, physical activity, stress reduction, sleep health, social connections, and avoidance of risky substances such as tobacco. Collectively, these therapeutic interventions are delivered by clinicians trained and certified in this specialty, to prevent, treat, and often reverse chronic disease. GW is transforming clinical care by weaving Lifestyle Medicine into the foundation of its approach to whole-person health. When setting goals for a healthier lifestyle, Doctor Moore recommends, "Focus on making as many positive choices as you can. Try adopting the mindset that every choice you make should promote health and nourish your body. When it comes to fruits, vegetables, beans and whole grains, variety is the path to good health, as well as the spice of life, so when choosing these foods, 'eat the rainbow!'"American Board of Lifestyle Medicine Certified Physician | Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate Program Graduate nutritionstudies.org

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
