OVERVIEW

I was born to a German-American family in Germany, and raised in Washington State and Iowa. After college on the East Coast, I returned to my family and the mountains. I am married with a teenage son. My whole family is passionate about the outdoors, and we enjoy backpacking and skiing together. I am active in my son_s school and sports activities, and strongly believe that outdoor exercise is critical for the emotional and physical well-being of our children, and all of us. I was recently called a _cheerleader_ for preventive health.

"She began the appointment 40 minutes late, then rushed the visit so she could start her lunch break on time. I did not feel as though my needs were met. She completely lacked compassion. One of the worst experiences I’ve had with a new doctor. "

"Dr. Grimlund is the best woman Doctor that Kaiser Permanente has on staff. I have been a client of Dr. Grimlund for many years. She is such an outstanding Doctor that she is hard to get in to see. Dr. Grimlund has talents, beside being an excellent Doctor, She has loving care and compassion for all of her patiences, Doctor Grimlund will call and check on her patients to make sure they are safe. Besides Her medical background, Doctor Grimlund is fluent in more than one other language. Doctor Birgitta Grimlund , is an asset to Kaiser Permanente, and I am privileged to have Doctor Grimlund as my Primary Physican."
