"Dr. Umapathi has the best bedside manner of any doctor I have seen in years. Given her area of practice, I was very uncomfortable goin into this visit. Her compassion and patience was remarkable and set me at ease. She is one of the rare physician who takes time to listen and talk with her patients, which is amazingly refreshing. Ultimately, she steered me toward a non-surgical course of treatment, which I also appreciated. I truly felt she had my best interests at heart."

"A week ago I had a robotic resection of my transverse colon. I was lucky enough to get referred to Dr Umapathi , for the complex and challenging surgery. I was immediately impressed by her sympathetic and kind demeanor while conveying information about my medical condition and surgery that could easily have been overwhelming . I trusted her skill and judgment. The four hour surgery was a great success and I got amazing care at George Washington Hospital. I cannot give her a higher rating as a doctor or as a human being. I am extremely grateful to have had her as my surgeon. It doesn't get any better than Dr Umapathi. "
