"He misdiagnosed my knee pain. When I got out of surgery he told me I had arteritis in the knee and removing my meniscus would probably do nothing to the pain I was experiencing before surgery. Why would he still proceed to remove my meniscus seeing that the true issue was arteritis? Before surgery I could walk normally and had no pain doing daily activities. My only pain was when trying to run. As an avid runner I went in to try to get back to running but after surgery I now have constant pain on my knee. My knee gives out occasionally while walking and it never did so before surgery. He now says I need a knee replacement which I didn't need before surgery. I wish I had gone to a different doctor. I'm in my early 40s and I cant ever run ever again and walking and doing daily activity is severely painful. If I could give him a million negative stars I would."

"Not a skilled surgeon. He performed hip replacement surgery and it displaced twice within 6 months. I had to find surgeon to perform revision surgery. I had doctor from his physicians group confirm the prosthesis wasn't placed correctly."

"Dr. Thomasson is very rude. I'm overweight but was near my necessary BMI for hip surgery. He told me he wouldn't even be able to get his instrument around me. He was extremely insulting and accused me of trying to get a free visit. (All I asked for was a telephone appointment--I have Medicare and haven't had to pay a dime for appointments, in person or over the phone). I hear he is no longer with the practice. I traveled quite a distance for a simple question I wanted answered. He denied telling me he had planned on doing my surgery. NASTY, egotistical man. "
